Tom was born in Brooklyn, New York (May 22, 1949). Isis was born on the border of Russia and Tibet (March 9, 1945). Tom grew up Irish Catholic, Isis was raised Jewish. Both were psychic from childhood, and both served in the military: Tom in Vietnam and Isis in the Israeli army after her family fled to Israel from Russia.
Isis later moved to New York City where, in 1968, she met Tom at the Edgar Cayce A.R.E Center. After Tom returned from Vietnam, they got married.
On June 2, 1969, they formally established a group dedicated to the teachings of the Higher Forces. The Higher Forces told us to move to Virginia because it was one of the “safe areas.” Tom had a dream telling him about a house in Schuyler, Virginia, home of Walton’s Mountain. We were fortunate to find an Old Hospital there of Georgian style, constructed in 1921 entirely out of soapstone bricks. In 1975 we bought the building, which was in need of much work. We started moving down to Virginia in shifts from NYC, not knowing it would take ten years just for the basics to be done. But we persevered, doing the work ourselves, learning as we went.
Isis completely redesigned the Hospital from top to bottom, putting molding, columns, chandeliers. On August 28, 2007, two years after Tom’s passing, Isis Ringrose consecrated this building as the Temple of the Higher Forces.
